The "frog Ponds" located just 4 blocks from the Junior High have lost their ice with the warm days of spring. Yesterday, as I walked past the ponds on my way to the High School, Canada Geese pairs were suning on the path, but moved off as I got close. However, today an Cold front moved in from Canada and the temp this moring was 10 degrees with a chill factor of -15. The ponds had a thin layer of ice covering both ponds. By Sat. the temp is going to be in the mid 50's again. If you don't like the weather here, wait a hour or a day!
