Our third grade class at McBrayer Elementary in Morehead KY planted 30 tulip bulbs on 10/31/08 in our outdoor classroom. This was Pumpkin Day where we study pumpkins and learn about seeds and their life cycle. So learning about bulbs fit right in. Each child planted at least one tulip bulb and marked it with a wooden stake. We can see the tulip plantings out our classroom window.
