While driving to the grocery store I noticed several Painted Lady butterflies fluttering alongside my car. Then as I stopped at the red light ahead of me, I left my gaze drift to further down the road where I then saw dozens of Painted Ladies. I had never seen the migration in all my years of living here, nor had I ever expected to be among them as hundreds of Painted Ladies made their journey north. It was beautiful.
