Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/24/2009

Number: 1

Have eight hungry babies from the eggs found two days earlier. I found a tiny baby about the same age Saturday, March 28th, when hunting for more eggs. (The color of those born in the wild are much more dominate yellow than the caterpillars hatched at home.) We found about 30 eggs total and with the rains we got last week, the milkweed is unfurling daily.
