After a heavy snowfall on March 14th I saw and heard a small flock of five robins on the following day (March 15th)in a poplar tree in a suburban neighbourhood at the edge of the city. This is about a week later than I usually spot the first robins - probably because we have had a colder-than-usual winter with more snow than normal.
