Most reports of Am. Robins prior to mid- March are of over-wintering Robins, of which there are many in Nova Scotia. I have had one at the feeders in my Halifax mid-city yard all winter.
The first wave I saw (about 60 Robins)was on March 25th along Hwy 103 outside Kentville. At the NS Bird Society several people reported waves on the 25th and 26th March.
