Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 03/30/2009

Number: 1

When our students returned from spring break, they observed two tulips blooming. However, it was apparent that others had bloomed and that their flowers had been eaten. The stems on these appeared to have been cut at the very top. We are very busy discussing solutions to the problems we have encountered since the fall, the deer being a major one. We have noticed that the deer have only eaten the ones that are closest to the edges of the chicken wire.
