I was delighted to encounter 2 more remigrants this evening around 6:30. The popped in from Mexico, arriving from due west and zipping up the bluff into my back yard. They did a screeching halt, a 360 above the wall of orange bougainvillia and suddenly called it a day! Both dropped down to nectar on the bougainvillia, then the one on the south peeled off into Leti & Keith's back yard while the other popped over my house into the front yard. They are still here, flitting about, elating in the cul de sac created by the loquat, Japanese yew, and several ash trees in Leti's west yard.
It was exactly a week ago that I saw 2 others at the same time of day. But still no eggs!
