We have several flowering crab apple trees in our front yard. For the past 5 days, we have seen robins feeding in the trees, and on the ground where the fruit (the size of berries, 1/4 - 1/2" diameter) has fallen. We have had upwards of 50 robins at a tine, in a true feeding frenzy. Since we have had snowstorms, this has become the neighborhood fueling station. Everyone seems to be getting along peacefully, as they go about their business.
