Two Common golden eyes (not common around here ) were sighted on the river, the pair acted as if ready for nesting. March 30th Horned owl spotted in her nest with baby's. Deer are returning to the area, and a Canadian goose is sight in plan view on a nest by the river. I don't believe it will make it, she in the wide open and between coyotes and egg eater critters - we check every day and she still there. I think she built the nest when the river was high. To bad.
Leaves are beginning to bud, and early tubers are sprouting, and the birds are twitterpating.
