All Other Signs of Spring

Date: 04/03/2009

Number: 1

This morning at 7:16 am I looked out my daughters window to check on the morning dove that is nesting in the pine tree I was very pleased to see she has 1 egg was gingerly trying to possition herself and the egg.I was raining pretty hard at that time. I have not seen or heard the male at all and believe it may because his job is done for now.I also, believe she probably just laid the egg within the last few hours. I just checked on her a few more times and she looks to be trying to rest. The best part is I can check on her and without disturbing her at all.
