Here in Kansas we had a warm front followed by a cold front, which resulted in cold temperatures and some snow (inches vary depending on what part you lived in and we were not here to measure how much snow fell on our tulips). Before the snow our tulips had a lovely green color, but after the snow melted and they had suffered some cold weather they are dotted with brown and have some holes and ragged edges (they may also have been eaten by animals). Most of our tulips have not blossomed yet, but the bloom is appearing on many of our class and experimental tulips. We predict that many of our tulips will bloom next week when we are on spring break. Our larges bulb in our control garden is 15cm (smallest 11.5) and our largest experimental bulb is 20cm ( a forgotten experiment) (smallest 4cm it is molding).
