Cheyenne's tulip was the first one to emerge. Seven students did not have any leaves emerge because they've never planted before and maybe they have bad luck with plants. 12 students had plants that emerged and bloomed. This was the first time some students have planted tulips. Jonte's tulip bulb was planted near a down spout so maybe there was too much water for his plant to grow. Elise planted her bulb close to a pine tree so maybe there were too many roots. Jonus thinks that maybe some people might have stepped on his tulip. Two classes planted tulips in the same courtyard so maybe the other students accidentally stepped on some tulips. Some students who planted by the sidewalk did not have any plants.
