Two Monarchs were seen today in my garden busily laying eggs on my native Swamp and Showy milkweed, just barely poking up from the ground. No native milkweed up that I've found in the usual pastures and ditches. Hard freeze predicted for Tuesday a.m. May slow the Monarchs back some. Reported to Monarch Watch.
