We were watching a group of geese in the middle of the Koontz Lake, when all of the sudden, they all got up and immediately took flight and formed a vee. That hadn't been their past behavior. Then we saw a large bird come from behind them from the north, soaring past where the geese had been. The bird turned toward us and we saw it to be a bald eagle. It landed in the tree tops where we were able to get several pictures, before it took off southwest, never to be seen since or before.
