First female rufus seen April 8th at a feeder in our dogwood tree about dusk. Male also at the same time (he's been here since April 5th). Its possible these two may be paired and may be building a nest nearby. We have found old nests in the past and know they nest in our area. In 2008, we saw several young with parents using our feeder. We were buzzed at a very quite section of our large hedge on April 5th. This may/may not be a 2009 nesting location.
