I have been watching for Monarch eggs during the past couple of weeks since seeing Monarchs in the yard. I was never able to find any eggs, but today I saw that there are nine caterpillars on the Milkweed plants in my yard. They vary from about 1/4 inch to 1.5 inches in length. They are eating their way through my three Milkweed plants very rapidly.
