Bald Eagle

Date: 03/30/2009

Number: 1

I had an amazing close encounter at 10 am. I was driving to work and I could see the branches of a tree moving in an unusual way behind a building. I thought to myself, "man that must be Cheetah the chimp up there. What the heck his going on?" I continued to look. As I came closer I saw the branches stop drooping and I saw a GIANT bald eagle had just finished organizing its feathers to sit upright on an exposed branch to study the territory. It was not further than 100 feet from the car and it was huge ( the size of a small child) spectacular and regal! What a way to start the day. A joy!
