Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/02/2009

Number: 1

We had already had a tremendous amount of rain and wind all day. During a brief lull in the showers, we noticed a tiny hummingbird hovering patiently over the place where we usually hang the feeder. Of course, I quickly prepared sugar water right away and within minutes, the little bird was back! Since that day, we've had many more ruby-throated visitors.
