We saw 2 distinct flocks (Sandhill cranes) flying close to each other. I would guess maybe 100 birds total, but this is just a guess as we were driving down the highway (I35E) and looking at them through binoculars. It was very exciting! They were doing a most beautiful ballet in flight. It was about 2-3 pm in the afternoon.
