Our milkweed plants are beginning to peek through the mulch in our classroom garden. We had to cover them this week during our late spell of freezing temperatures. Most sprouts are between one and two inches tall now. We have incarnata, syriaca, and tuberosa plants sprouting. We are on the lookout for monarchs!
