Six Monarchs were sighted today. Two were very faded, three moderately faded and one had fresh wings. Today was very windy with strong SW-W winds with gusts near 40mph in the afternoon. All the Monarchs were flying just above the ground. Five Monarchs were observed yesterday from 10am to 10:50am. All the butterflies sighted yesterday had faded wings.
