There is nice weather.

The tulips have green leaves. The tulip leaves are soft and smooth. We saw something that looked like a pod inside the middle of the plant.

Some of us were surprised the tulips are growing. Some of us were also excited to see the tulips, because we can see the leaves but not the flowers.
