Today, we came back from Spring Break. We noticed almost all of our tulips had bloomed. Derek said he observed them for the first time yesterday. We were surprised that they were not taller. Savannah noticed a relationship between the tulips closest to the trees and the progress of the bloom. The tulips closest to the trees seemed to have more bloom at this time, even though they were among the last to emerge. We had to go out in the rain to see them. But sometimes, science is uncomfortable! They are beautiful and make our school sign more noticeable.
