Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 04/14/2009

Number: 1

After arriving back to school, following a fabulous spring break we were greeted with many red blossoms! We were supprised to find that 2/9 of our experimental tulips bloomed and 15/17 of our control garden bloomed. What could cause the majority of our control garden to bloom while our experimentals are not? We are currently looking into this phenomenon. Two of our tulips have suffered a tragic fate, they were eaten by an unknown animal and we don't think that they will bloom. To protect our tulips from animals we placed netting over the tulips. Many students think that the netting was inhibiting the growth of their tulips.
