I saw my first Rufous hummer. I am 95% sure it was a Rufous as back was not green but was very rusty colored and it perched with its back to me for quite a while. It was feeding with a female Anna's. There have been Allen's in the same location in previous days (hence the 95% sure and not 100% sure as these two are very difficult to tell apart). Only the Rufous has the rusty back.
