We realized last week that we'd lost about half our tulips to a crafty woodchuck. (He's a BIG fellow, too!) The rest are standing strong though, and this morning the first bud opened. It's gorgeous! It's been chilly and the buds have just been hanging out for a couple weeks now, but today the weather was sunny and warm. Maybe that did the trick. Whatever the trigger, today's a special day!
