We were actually happy to see that our tulips started to bloom a week later this year. That way we were back at school and not on spring break! This year the blooms seem HUGE! One of ours seems larger than a big, red delicious apple. We will count to see what percentage bloomed. The class was also very interested to see blooms from last year's bulbs. It provided a great lesson on the terms--annuals and perennials.
