Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 04/13/2009

Number: 1

Our tulips have been open for about a week now! Today (4/16/09) Annika counted 15 in full bloom and the other 9 are just about to bloom. The tallest two are 8 inches. They have purple pollen. The shortest ones are 3-4 inches. We think that they are short because right when they were going to grow tall, the snow stopped their growth. But, the flowers bloomed anyways. The stamens are purple and the pistil is yellow. It looks like a fancy fountain waterfall with statues all around it!
