Swan Lake in Swanville, Maine
"The ice finally left Swan Lake Thursday, April 16, according to veteran observer Duncan Brown of Swanville. The official time was 6 p.m., Brown said, which puts the date a bit earlier than the past two years and in line with the long history of recorded ice-out dates at the former Goose Pond.
The ice-out date was April 21 in 2008 and April 25 in 2007. The 2006 date was April Fool's Day. Honest."
