Single individual with deliberate meandering flight 3-5 feet above roadside growth, testing behavior during sunny, upper 70s at 5:15 pm. Little to slight breeze sometimes from southwesterly, sometimes northeasterly directions. Many Lepidoptera active today. Redbud, peach, apples all in bloom as well as mustard and dandelions. Still searching for milkweed shoots along roads.
