Lake Poinsett

"Strong winds and a thawing Lake Poinsett created hazardous conditions earlier this week, as ice chunks flew off the water and into some lakeside property.


According to a report from Keloland TV, the Monday winds carried 4-inch-thick sheets of ice from the lake into several backyards and damaged a home and one dock."
"It took about 20 minutes for the winds to push all the ice from the lake to shore. "
