The robins are singing and we are seeing waves. I noticed them singing on Saturday (April 18), and started seeing waves on April 15. Varied Thrushes are singing also. Many local people see the varied Thrushes as the true sign of spring. They aren't the first sign of spring, but they seem to tell us it is for sure.
