Today our class came back from April vacation. We were looking forward to seeing how many of our tulips bloomed during vacation. The tulips looked like they were ready to bloom soon when we observed them last time. When we went outside to look at our tulips we were happy to see that most of the tulips have bloomed. However, some of our tulips have not been so lucky! One tulip was completely missing and two tulips had the flowers missing. There were two other tulips that were drooping towards the ground and had shriveled flowers. Some of the taller tulips looked as though their flowers were heavy. We thought this becasue they were leaning towards the ground.
