Groups of 3 to a dozen or more robins were seen around the Juneau area late last week. It is exciting that spring is really here; our day temps are now consistently in the high 40s. Many small lakes and ponds are in the break-up stage of ice loss. We still have cold nights with freezing temps in many locations.
