My son, 2 dogs, and I were sitting outside in our backyard on a blanket when I noticed my dog was looking at something. It was a Monarch! My son and I got up from where we were sitting to get a closer look. We watched it fly around our yard for a little bit then it flew over our privacy fence to our neighbor's yard where we could no longer see it. My son and I went back to our blanket to read some books. Within about two minutes my son spotted the monarch again or perhaps a second one.
