"The 2009 Winner is Mary Mulheran with a guess of 4:45 PM on 04/21. The official judge's time was 5:30 PM. While most of the lake appeared open today, at 5:00 PM (and I am quoting) "a giant block of ice passed by their house with a seagull riding it. It would have prevented anyone from passing through the channel." By 5:30 the seagull and ice were completely gone!"
