We were so excited to find 10 tulips had bloomed this morning! The buds have been ready for about a week now, but we were getting so much cloudy, rainy weather they did not open. Today was sunny, and we found our tulips had bloomed at lunch recess. The kids were busy measuring, sketching, and buzzing about the news! Although Mrs. Ankeney's garden had buds sooner than the other plots, Miss Weser's garden must be getting more sun as those tulips bloomed first. Mrs. Ludolph's garden is still budding, but no blooms have been spotted there yet. We think Mrs. Ankeney's garden gets the most water and Miss Weser's garden gets the most sunlight.
