I live at Klinger Lake, just east of White Pigeon, Michigan. I had been waiting the arrival of my ruby throated friends. Almost two weeks ago, I decided to make up a batch of sugar water to have out, in case they came early. No sightings. Then, I noticed that someone from Coldwater, Michigan had one on her feeder on Friday. So, I made sure to have fresh food out. I also told my sister in law to have food ready, as she lives just around the corner from me. Today, she had her first hummer. I am still waiting; very impatiently!
