We saw our first Monarch late this afternoon. It flew right in front of us as we tilled our garden, dipping down low it seemed to make sure we saw it! What a welcome sight! We couldn't tell if it was male or female, but it was very faded and appeared to be looking for milkweed. Our wild milkweed is up, but just a few inches.
