Was doing some gardening; as a matter of fact I was planting small milkeed plants and saw a tattered, extremely faded monarch who stopped for a drink of nectar on some flowers that were already blooming. It was gone as suddenly as it appeared, and was once again headed north. I hope it makes it to some mature milkweed!!!
