Dowling Lake

"Kate Boyle reports that loons returned to Dowling Lake about 30 miles south of Superior on April 15, the day the ice went out. Boyle is a Loon Ranger on the lake, which means she monitors the loon activity there.

“We’re hoping they have their two babies as they have the past two years on Father’s Day,” Boyle said."
