Walter's tulip was planted by a tree. It grew two flowers. The spring snow storm caused Monique's petals to close around the flower. The petals felt like wax paper. After the snow storm, most of Asha's petals were missing from her flower. The bright red color of the petals made Elise feel that she was in an apple orchard. Seven students planted bulbs that did not emerge or bloom. Cassandra's stem was green, but her flower was brown. A stray dog was placed in the courtyard. Some students reported that the dog urinated on the plants which may have caused them not to grow properly. The dog also ran back and forth inside the courtyard which may have trampled the tulips.
