I finally saw my first hummingbird!!!! I have had feeders up and maintained for weeks and thought I saw one feeding two weeks ago, but I wasn't sure. I haven't seen one at my feeders since. This morning as I was looking out my window into the garden, I saw something fly past too fast to be anything else- but all I saw was a blur. I went out to look at my feeders and suddenly there it was right in my face- but not for long.I think it was chasing an insect.
