4/28/2009 This morning at 8:30am I spotted a very hungry female Ruby Throated Hummingbird at my feeder!!!!!!! I put my feeder out early this year just in case, on April 18th. Last year my first sighting was on May 2. I am so happy!!!!!
Now I will put another one in front of the kitchen window so I can enjoy watching them up close.
Gosh, she sure is a tiny little girl!!!I have the feeder on a tree branch about 20 feet from my front door. She is perched on a small branch above the feeder. She has been feeding about every 10 minutes. What a wonderful sight first thing in the morning!!!!!!! Made my day!
