Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 04/29/2009

Number: 1

Some of our tulips have bloomed and some have not. Many of the beautiful flowers were chewed off along with the green stems and leaves! We are wondering what has chewed them. We are suspecting a very hungry animal. However, we are not sure. We are investigating by looking at the evidence; in this case the teeth marks. We have made a small "meadow" and put blueberries, popcorn, crumbs from a Nutra-bar, carrots, peanuts, cookie crumbs, bird seed, etc. In order to attract our culprit, we put some tulips and leaves near the food. We are expecting the animal that is in our garden will eat one of the foods. We suspect that it is either a rabbit or a squirrel. Will keep you posted about our observations.
