I had three pair last year (08) that made nests; only one pair actually hatched fledglings. Crows and blackbirds are bad in this area to attack their sack-like nests. I have several pairs eating at the feeders and enjoying the orange slices I put out this year. I live by a lake with lots of trees. db in Arkansas
