A lone male arrived at 3:30 pm. He came to the feeder several times and fed while hovering, he never perched. This sighting occurred after several days of very warm weather in the area. Hummers were reported two days ago in the Conn River area of NH. We are about 15 miles east of that area and at a higher altitude on the edge of the White Mountains.
