the feeder had been up for about 3wks before a male arrived on the 1st. the next morning he was present with a female while she fed. he may have returned from last year(s) but with feeder already up we can't be sure. he wasn't timid while feeding in the backyard especially with the kids playing and other going ons. i saw my first bluebird today 5-2 and garden toad, brown and almost as big as a baseball, on 4-30.
