It was 7:30 a.m. There was a pair of orioles in my backyard, clinging onto the stems of the red tulips I have planted and feeding on the nectar. The male also kept flying to my seed feeders and sitting on top of the post, looking down at the other birds who were feeding on seed. He kept flying back and forth from the seed feeders to the tulips. The female stayed back by the tulips and didn't come up to the feeders. Unfortunately, I didn't have an oriole feeder up.
